Most Bible teachers will tell you that Jesus already won the war. He conquered death and the grave, and that’s certain (and more on that victory as we go), but either someone forgot to tell the enemy, or he’s throwing the biggest temper tantrum in history, knowing that his destruction is imminent. The war for us is far from over. We see it daily on the news, in the shows we watch, where we work, in our neighborhoods, in our homes, and we feel it in our hearts. We can either choose to fight and win or lie down and play dead. These are the only two choices. As Edmund Burke said, The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men (and women) to do nothing. This book is about doing something, starting with ourselves and, as we go, taking that same something into the world to win the war for Christ.
